Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Tiffany and I am a first time mom and stay at home mom from Arkansas! My daughter is a happy healthy one year old who has very much entered into her toddler era. I am here to help share my story from the rewarding experiences and struggles of being a new mom as well as a stay-at-home mom. I will also be providing content to help you prepare for your little ones arrival and some of the products that I recommend and have used or been recommended so far! I also hope to share tips and tricks on how to make life easier with a baby as well as toddler content and meals! It truly takes a village to raise our little ones and I am hoping to be able to help with yours through my blog and that you will be able to find the information that you are looking for.
My husband and I met while we were in college. We dated for 3 years and even had to deal with long distance for awhile when I was sent home from college during the peak of Covid-19. That time was very trying for us as we were both dealing with our own personal battles and just the struggle of not being able to see each other very often. Even though it seemed that everything was against us, we made it through and came out even stronger on the other side. It’s honestly crazy to think about that time almost 6 years ago now and just the realization that time truly does fly! We got married in October 2022 and by May 2024, our daughter made her debut into the world. The most important thing that our family has done was that we found our relationship with Jesus together and have only grown in those relationships and kept him at the center of family foundation.
Our daughter was born a healthy happy baby and has thankfully stayed healthy throughout her little life so far. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. Pregnancy was very hard on my body and it led to me having pre-eclampsia which led to me being induced at 38 weeks, post-partum pre-eclampsia, gallstones, and now over a year later some health issues that we are trying to figure out. I hope to share some light in my experience with all of these illnesses especially the pre-eclampsia because it is such a serious illness in pregnancy/post-pregnancy. I want to share my experience because it was not explained to me well and I didn’t know how serious it was until I was laying in a hospital bed with a 5 day old baby that I couldn’t hold or take care of for the 1st day we were there because of how sick I was.
I am so excited to be sharing my experiences in being a mother and I am an open book! I am hoping to help mothers all over the world know that they are not alone and that there is another mother out there that can relate to them, that has had the same experiences, the same struggles and the same emotions. Through my experiences I will be sharing tips and tricks that have helped me as a mom and just some fun activities that can help entertain your toddler while helping them learn and grow closer with you! I may be a new mom, but once you become a mom you never stop being a mom for the rest of your life! I am 26 and call my mom all of the time for advice on something I am experiencing or even just to talk to her because I need a listening ear.
Being a mom is such a rewarding and challenging experience. To be honest, you will be tested and tried everyday. That’s just part of it. However, there will be so much reward, emotions and love that you have never known through being a mother. In times that you are questioning yourself remember that God made you and chose you to be a mother. He chose you in raising and protecting the most precious gift that not only He gives us , but children are the most precious gifts to God. You are a part of a truly wonderful village of women that are here to support each other in raising our babies. So welcome to motherhood and I hope you enjoy all of the content and advice I have to provide in hopes to help you in your journey, even if it’s just a little bit!
